The Duo 11 ATEX rotary vane pump developed by Pufa Vacuum is especially suitable for the process in explosive environment and the exhaust of explosive gas and steam. It is certified by ATEX instruction 2014/34/EU and meets the high requirements of explosion-proof. ATEX certification is effective both internally and externally. The pump corresponds to equipment category 3G and temperature grade T4. Suction gases are all gases of explosion group IIC and below.

The pumping speed is 9 m3/h at 50 Hz and 10.5 m3/h at 60 Hz. Duo 11 ATEX is equipped with friction-free magnetic coupling. Therefore, the shaft seals usually installed in rotary vane pumps can be omitted. Magnetic coupling provides additional safety, which is particularly important when using pumps in potentially explosive environments: no gas leaks from the pump's interior to the exterior through damaged seals.
